Crafting has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a little girl, I found myself drawn to anything made by hand. If it involved needles, yarn, fabric, wood, or imagination, you could bet I wanted to learn how to make it. I began crocheting and knitting at a very young age, and over the decades these skills became not just hobbies — but a joyful way of life. In fact, I’ve been doing needlework of all kinds for over 60 years.

I was blessed with parents who nurtured my creative spirit. My mother taught me how to sew, crochet, and appreciate the beauty in every handmade detail. My father shared his love of woodworking, showing me how to turn simple pieces of wood into something useful, beautiful, or meaningful. Together, they gave me the foundation for a lifetime of crafting, and I continue to build on that legacy today.

More About Me

I’ve always been a do-it-yourself kind of person. I love looking at something and figuring out how it’s made — and then trying it myself. Whether it’s crochet, knitting, sewing, woodworking, pyrography, or seasonal crafts, I enjoy the challenge of learning something new and turning it into something special.

One of my greatest joys is sharing this passion with my grandchildren. We spend time crafting together, laughing, learning, and making memories with every stitch and brushstroke. Their friends often ask for the “stuffies” I make — and seeing children excited about something handmade warms my heart every single time. Crafting isn’t just my hobby; it’s how I connect with the people I love.

That’s why Grandma’s Boutique was born — to share those same warm, handmade treasures with others. Every item in my shop is made with intention, care, and a whole lot of heart. My philosophy is simple: keep your hands busy, your mind active, and your creativity alive. That’s what keeps me the “crafty grandma” my family knows and loves.
